raindrops and cobwebs

the scanner washed the image out a bit and I can't quite get it back to the way it should look. I think the idea comes across anyway.

Berlin store front

After an afternoon at the Oberbaum Brücke Open Air Art Show a friend and I walked around the area. I took several pictures of doors and bikes (see also below).

Took this in Berlin.
The plant was growing as though guided by the bikes.

door, window and ivy

Somehow I just never can get the scanned in pictures to look like the prints. Oh well. I haven't felt much like blogging lately or going through pictures. It is all a bit too much right now with the big move coming...and me not really feeling up to it. Maybe once it has all settled down. I am sad that soon my life, as it currently is, will be a memory. It is hard to let that happen...

tree and church

When I was in Erpel on Christmas Eve I noticed that they had cut down this beautiful tree. Rumor has it, it was sick. I wish I had taken a few more pictures of it.

purple flower

This was taken across from the train station. I'm not sure what type of flower it is ... I thought I needed a little bit of color on the blog for a change.

I wonder what this door leads to.

reflection

I had to be lifted up by a friend to take this picture because I was too short. I think I would have liked to take a little more time on it, but it turned out ok despite having to just quickly focus and shoot.

Wings of Desire

Trying to figure out what two years from now will bring. I love it here in Regensburg but also can tell I am becoming eager to get on with something new and interesting. The lure of this place can cause me nearly to forget that. At the same time, I am becoming a little hesitant about what I want and how capable I am. That may also be a sign that my confidence is atrophying. Hopefully I will do ok with this class I am designing and thus build it up a little. ... a little concerned about how that will turn out. Well, I suppose I will just hang on to the ride and hope it is fun.
